Solatorobo Read the Hunter is a Japanese role playing video game based on the Japanese manga series “Sorairo Days.” Solatorobo: Red the Hunter was originally released in the country as Soratorobo, -Sore Nanae- in 2006 and it has been licensed for international release. It is a remake of a successful Japanese PSP RPG known as Sorairo Days: Rhapsody of Fate.
Solatorobo is known to be a high quality game. It is one of the latest games on the PSP marketplace and its graphics and sound effects are excellent for an 8-bit type game.
The storyline of Solatorobo is that it’s an evil sorceress who wants to rule the world and her kingdom. She commands a gang of demons and is also aided by many of her female followers. She can easily be killed though as her henchmen will easily take down any male characters who try to oppose her.
The game is simple to understand and has plenty of adventure. The game is set in the feudal Japan where samurai warriors have been fighting each other for years. One day a boy named Takuya appears in town and is befriended by a group of people. Takuya becomes part of the group, eventually going under the wing of one of the female members who gives him power.
As the story progresses, more supernatural powers are discovered as Takuya slowly finds out that he possesses some kind of magic. He becomes more powerful as the game progresses. After completing the game and defeating the female demon lord, the main character, Solatorobo, will find that he is now immortal and can do whatever he wants.
There are a lot of challenges in the game. It is a fun, addictive game that is sure to entertain everyone that plays it.
Solatorobo is one of the newest PSP games that has gained quite a following. It is a game that people who love Japanese gaming love to play. It is highly recommended for fans of role playing and has very good graphics and sound effects that keep you entertained. No doubt it’s another great game to play with family and friends.
Solatorobo is available on the PlayStation Store for the PSP. It’s a wonderful video game to play alone or with the family.
