Top 5 – Best selling games on ONE CONSOLE ever

YOU CAN WIN 20 GAMES Games, games, games, were talking about them all the time, but which ones did actually sell the most copies? We tried to find the answer on this question by looking up which physical video game sold the most on a single platform. Oh, and we didnt count the pack-in titles to keep the list a bit more fair. Yep, we also left out Wii Play, because it was basically a controller with a mediocre minigame compilation. So here is the top 5 best selling video games ever! 5. New Super Mario Bros Wii – 29+ million Expect a lot of Nintendo Love on this list starting with Super Mario Bros Wii edition. The Wii edition of this game brought the Super Mario 2D platform game back in the living room. Although it’s definitely not the best in the series, it proves to be the most popular for the consoles with over 29 million copies sold. Thats quite a lot for a small plumber. 4. New Super Mario Bros – 30+ million Yup yup. We just saw its big brother, but this one started it all back in 2006. After years of 2D platform absence the red mustached plumber suddenly was back in the game. New Super Mario Bros jumped its way to more than 30 million copies, which makes it the best sold Nintendo DS title ever. The game already got three proper sequels and proves that 2D platforming games still remain crazy popular. Yahoo! 3. Pokemon Red and Blue – 31+ million The original Nintendo Gameboy was released in the eighties, but its hit game came out in the late nineties. Pokemon Red and Blue, which are practically the same game, sold over 31 million copies combined and with this year’s re release it’s probably going to be even more. The Pokemon craze started in 1996 and hasn’t stopped since. Quite a big accomplishment for a few pocket sized monsters, right? 2. Wii Sports Resort – 32+ million Wii Sports is probably the game that every Wii-owner owns. But unfortunately it came as a pack-in game, so it doesnt count for this list. The sequel called Resort also became a huge success and managed to sell over 32 million copies. Probably also because of the fact that it came with a Wii Mote Plus accessory. A pretty good value considering the fact that Wii Sports Resort was a big improvement on the original. 1. Mario Kart Wii – 35+ million It’s a well known fact that the Mario kart franchise is one of Video Gamings most popular ones. But you probably didnt know it is the best selling game ever, because Mario Kart Wii sold over 35 million copies. Thats insane, right? Is this the best Mario Kart ever made? Definitely not, but it did sell the most copies and therefore takes in the number one spot on the list. Bravo! Honorable Mentions: GTA V PS3 – 20+ million , Xbox360 – 17+ million Nintendogs – 24+ million GTA San Andreas PS2 – 20+ million Pokemon Gold/Silver – 23+ million Mario Kart DS – 23+ million Wii Fit – 22+ million Wii Fit Plus – 21+ million Brain Age: Train Your Brain minutes a Day – 20+ million ZOOMIN.TV GAMES ON SOCIAL MEDIA Follow us on Twitter – Like us on Facebook – Check out our Snapchat – zoomintvgames And our Instagram – zoomingames.ig We are on Twitch too!!
